Can you believe your step-son just up and left me after giving birth to your beautiful grand baby? It is incredibly generous of you and your wife to take us in even though you are only my parents by marriage. I'm not even sure how much longer I will be married to your step-son since he is the one who ran off to who knows where. I just felt you should know how much I genuinely appreciate you opening your home to me and the baby.
